Since you know about early 70s stuff can you help me find a movie I forgot the name of?. There's this movie I watched once I don't know the name of but I believe it was made sometime around 1971. And it's a cowboy movie but like all I remember about it was that there was some black character and some thing with a train company in the movies story and a scene making fun of how cowboys ate beans with a fart scene at a campfire and then the ending was the movie characters breaking 4th wall and going around the movie studio breaking into other sets for other movies and going on the streets. That's literally all I can remember about this movie. Edit: I found the movie. It's blazing saddles (1974)

About like the laws about movies that used to exist in america. I think maybe the stereotype of the 60s and 70s being super progressive and the 50s being christian conservative times might be affected by this like maybe the reason people think the 50s was so christian conservative was just because the movies and tv shows had to be showing that and that maybe people irl in that time weren't like that while the 60s those rules got lifted so people can make movies showing more accurate stuff with how people actually thought and lived. Of course I still think the 60s was more culturally progressive then the 50s but I just think maybe the difference isnt as big as people think it was because of the movies tricking future gens
