Adobe Will Stop Supporting Flash Player In The Year 2020
It's an end of an era in the year 2020. This means that Adobe will no longer provide security updates and patches to Adobe Flash Player. Adobe Flash Player first started it's life in 1996 as then-named Macromedia Flash Player created by then now defunct company Macromedia Inc. Adobe then acquired the rights to Macromedia Flash Player in 2005 and it's former company which made Macromedia Inc. go defunct, and Macromedia Flash Player was renamed to Adobe Flash Player. Websites still use Adobe Flash Player today, like online gaming portal websites. VidLii no longer puts Adobe Flash Player by default anymore like it used to. YouTube forced HTML5 to everyone since 2015 and stop supporting Adobe Flash Player, and those are some of my examples... Adobe Flash Player has been around for a long time since 1996, and it really did change the Internet by bringing more content into it. Hopefully HTML5 can do the same thing during it's own lifetime... Thanks for watching and enjoy the video! :)

I still have Flash Player installed, but I have my browsers set to disable it by default. rn VidLii is the only exception on the list. The player here is awesome because it was ported directly from the old YouTube. I will be more than happy to switch back to HTML5 once the player is redesigned though.
Flash is good to have just in case certain content calls for it, but its becoming increasing scarce. I know some people that don't have it installed at all. I'll probably keep it after 2020, and just keep it from auto-running. I'm happy to see HTML5 has finally become the standard though.

It's 2020 now and I just want to say that I'm pretty mad at Adobe for the selfish things they do. I can understand how old Flash Player is and that it's time to make a change but they've still threatened to sue artists who use older copies of their software, essentially trying to force us to use their subscription based software which I can't afford. I will keep using my old copies of Photoshop, Flash Professional and Premiere and I'm not stopping, even if I get thrown in prison for it.

@eXP Adobe cannot keep Adobe Flash Player because in my guess, the product is highly outdated, is being heavily replaced by HTML5, and that Adobe Flash Player keeps on being bombarded by frequent security concerns.

@Ultra64 Thankfully we have The Henry Stickmin Collection on Steam because of Flash Player's death.
