Years ago, Spider-Man and Venom put aside their differences and teamed up to defeat Carnage, an insane killer named Cletus Kasady who has bonded with the offspring of Venom's own alien symbiote. The symbiote seemingly destroyed and Kasady locked away in the Ravencroft Institute, Spider-Man and Venom thought Carnage was finished...they were wrong.
