my geographic region has many factors, mountains a few hours west, pacific coast disturbances and storms, and from the north, the freakin Arctic, and usually in summer, lots of hot dry air comes straight north from Arizona to heat the place, sometimes in the middle of winter too.
there are many hot and cold and wet weather systems that meet up at my place to hang out for a while

plus, we've had no rain here since the end of August.
August until end of October, harvest was efficient for farmers, as the low humidity makes it easier for swathing and combining crops,
and, it is freakin' dusty, i'm sure you can locate some harvest videos.
all the dust makes sunsets even more colorful, i'm just going to go floss my lungs out now
