SimplyReal (5 months ago) As far as getting away, we can't go too far like you said because of our careers, but we do travel as far as seven hours away by car. We have been to the redwoods, amusement parks, the gorgeous Monterey Bay Aquarium (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), down to SoCal to visit family as well as do the Hollywood/Bev Hills thing, San Diego, of course the central coast, and as far north as the border. We both have vacation saved up for next spring. We plan to visit relatives in other states.

SimplyReal (5 months ago) WE have them set to come on at dusk and they run about six hours, so they shut down by bedtime. I highly recommend them! Plus, if your power goes out, your place will still be nicely illuminated, lol!

SimplyReal (5 months ago) Happy Sunday! Glad you are getting into the spirit, despite the lack of kids coming for treats. Like I said, it has declined here too. One thing I love about Tammy is that she goes all out for all holidays. We don't go overboard either, but just enough to create the festive feeling every holiday. As far as lanterns go, we have them all over the house, and not just for Halloween. They are very decorative, and the best part is they are battery operated, and have timers built in.

SimplyReal (5 months ago) I tried to reach out to Eve, but she doesn't speak to me anymore. She completely disappeared at CS1 without even letting me know. I've been a pretty good friend to her so I don't understand why but everybody's going through something I suppose. Take care.

SimplyReal (5 months ago) Tammy is also doing very well. We are both working very hard and also spending a lot more time traveling on the weekends so it's a nice balance. Have met several new friends this past year, so I really can't complain. Well I could, but it would be about the things that you already know, which is the cost of living. Anyhow, I'm going to crash pretty soon. I'm opening tomorrow so it's going to be an early one. I'll catch you over the weekend!

SimplyReal (5 months ago) We love Halloween here! I used to carve at least four or five jack o'lanterns every year, but something has changed with the pumpkins at least out here. They used to last at least four or five days, but now they only last about 24 hours before they either mold or cave in. I'll probably only do one this year. Not to mention we only get a fraction of the kids these days in comparison to just a few years ago. People are skeptical and I understand why. We still love it though! We decorated our place

SimplyReal (5 months ago) Really glad you enjoyed your summer! What exactly did you do? Did you travel anywhere? I have one more day of work and then I'm off the next two days. Was just driving home from work listening to the world series. Blue Jays sound like they're doing really good against Los Angeles! How is that bike of yours? A lot of kids are getting into accidents here, so there's a lot of talk on the news about them. I guess it depends what model you buy and how fast they go.

Timeless (5 months ago) Hi Matt! Passing through to wish you a restful & safe weekend. I’m sorry I missed you yesterday. Ace was low on stock with the Honeywell thermocouples. We should get them tomorrow. Is that a brand you trust or do you have a good experience with it? Thank you for your prayers about the situation. It’s not the problem itself that has me the most worried. It’s the fear of Zee getting weak or sick after changing the thermocouple. Each day is survival for us. I’ll reply to your email tomorrow 🌞
