The Aztecs had history of various sacrifices to appease their gods, an then Europeans came with their diseases that Aztecs weren't immune to. Drug cartels brutality is a way to terrorize the local population and sending a message to rival cartels not to screw with them - the goal is different than in Aztec case but nonetheless in my eyes they are degenrates of the lowest calibre especially when the victim doesn't know any better but when that's another cartel's member then I won't cry about that

What are your thoughts on south and central america durg cartels brutality? Are they understandable trough aztecian legacy of there nation?
