i mean, let's say you did live through it - now you'd only have memories of it, probably leaving a comment about how sad you are knowing how great things USED to be... so yeah, you shouldn't worry too much about it. at the end of the day, we're all in the same present day (present time!) inside a bag of shiat, so we should try to make the best of it.

I've been using linux on and off for a year, but I think CachyOS is the best, and I won't use Windows as my main OS anymore.
