Nickelback is an interesting case, I guess it's too "soft" to be rock for some people maybe?, I have no qualms with them; When I heard them I just felt like I was hearing the most generic, boring, by the numbers, safe and corporate wanna be rock ballad ever, but it's inoffensive there's no point on hating them, also they've had a very bad track record of being paired with bands that were way heavier than them, in contrast they looked like a bunch of wimps. But again no hate wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
