Never mind that the game was also a total rush job. It's bizarre that a platformer game starring Michael Jordan on the same consoles was surprisingly decent in comparison...

Shaq-Fu was a promising title but the developers (Delphine Software) were not familiar with fighting games or their mechanics. They were more used to making cinematic platformers like Another World and Flashback which explains why the characters in Shaq-Fu had fluid animations but had awkward jumping controls among other issues. If it had been developed by Midway or even Capcom (heck, even SNK), it would've been better received despite the silly premise.

Sweet! I remember when Makeine aired. I usually watch a lot of shonen but I do enjoy other anime genre too like slice of life. It was a pretty fun series, I wonder when the next season will premiere.

That's good to hear. Sorry I didn't respond sooner, I've been a little busy too, lol.

I also owned a PS1 that only lasted 7 years so I replaced it with a PS2 to play my old PS1 library as well as the new PS2 games as well as DVDs. I still have my GameCube but it's seen better days as it's starting to make clicking sounds every now and then. Both my DS and 3DS handhelds already died and my step-brother owned a PSP. My oldest console was a Tandy Color Computer 2 before eventually getting an Atari 2600 and then an NES.

My favorite consoles are the Sega Genesis and the Super NES. ^w^
I actually owned both of them back in the day. That was when consoles actually offered something unique for each system. Not like today's consoles...
