I had one broken rib a year ago.it healed with 6 weeks and I had to blow 5 times a day on some contraption and no i am not saying it out of attention rather I hope I would bring some comfort.maybe your is similar unless if it’s severe than I see a surgery in your situatiion(the e.r doctor told me it was only one rib so no surgery that night )
