For Instagram, I found a trick to upload pictures easily, without needing a smartphone. So I just take good pictures of my video game characters from my PS4, edit the color to make it look nice, crop the pictures and then upload it to Instagram. I was wanting to use it to make friends, but people can ruin it and make it more about popularity. It's just hard to get in contact with people or get noticed, social media isn't really social to me. I was also having the problem with posting a comment.

I actually saw your comment when it was "1 minute" old, very strange. It seems like it doesn't matter how good someone's content is, it's just hard to get popular, you are right; the original YouTube was better, it was just easier to make friends and people were more genuine. I tried using Instagram to connect with a childhood friend because that's the only social media I knew that they used, but they blocked me less than 24 hours before I could message them and explain who I was.

To make a long story short, it's hard to get noticed everywhere on the internet nowadays, I tried IG but it's clearly for zoomers (smartphone centered) and I don't really care for YT alternatives, this place is fine for me.

What happened with VLARE is that the website disappeared and would redirect you to VidLii, but now it doesn't do that anymore. I wish we didn't need a partnership to add a banner to our channel. I remember vStreamers, the website that Alisson made, you could add your own banner without a partnership and adjust the height so that the banner fit properly.

It's hard to get noticed on YouTube these days, even if your content is good, so I don't use it anymore. But even on here, it can be hard to get noticed. I might upload some gameplay related videos similar to what AlmightyGaming does, but I don't know if it would be worth all the trouble at this point. On Instagram I post video game screenshots, but as I understand you don't like Instagram.
