@aniki
It would be historically accurate, practical, and interesting if this connecting link between YouTube's Channel 1.0 and Channel 2.0 could also be implemented on Vidlii in the future. (3)

@aniki
And this is the layout in question: http://web.archive.org/web/20160603160836/http://www.zippcast.com/user/blatrix_FB. Specifically, it is the so-called "Channel Layout 1.5"—an intermediate stage in development between YouTube's Channel 1.0 and Channel 2.0 that originated on the now-defunct video platform "ZippCast." (2)

@aniki
All of this sounds very positive and acceptable; the fact that more channel layouts will be added to the selection in the future and all the channel-related bugs will be fixed points to a very promising future. Here is also another suggestion for a new Vidlii channel layout from Janibunny2014: (1)

@Janibunny2014 we plan on fixing bugs in the channels in the future and we could maybe add new channel layouts like the one suggested when we do that.

@aniki
Does this mean there will be a fourth selectable channel layout for Vidlii, or has something been misunderstood? And what exactly do they mean by "revamping the channels"? It would be really helpful and kind if you could please clarify this for Janibunny2014.

@aniki Thank you, truly. Seeing that design in Vidlli would be something unique.

u r so kewl and epic !1!1!1

@NoctisCaelum that's a neat design - when we start working on redoing channels we'll consider it.

@aniki Here's a link to a video showing its old design. It's worth pointing out that the platform featured both a comment box for submitting comments and pop-up comments that appeared on the screen. https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm23226980 And here's what its design looked like. If they recreated it in Vidlii's own style, it would be unique.https://blog-imgs-11-origin.fc2.com/s/m/a/smallwebmemo/07_1011nicovideo_rc2_ui.jpg

@NoctisCaelum can u send a screenshot or archive.org link?
