Ubuntu 8.04 recreation in 18.04
Just as the title of the video says, I tried to recreate Ubuntu 8.04 as best as I could, using Linux Mint 19.3 which in turn is based in Ubuntu 18.04.
Why Linux Mint? It delivers a better MATE experience out of the box than Ubuntu MATE.
