Honestly, I think the arguments I've seen against NFTs could also be applied to any other trendy commodity, like trading cards or disposable fashion items. Ugly, not of any true value, and awful for the environment. But I don't see as many people ragging on the aforementioned things as they do NFTs. Ironically, it's become a massive trend to make fun of something for being a trend, which I have seen time and time again and it gets tiring.
