The Poem That Made Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal [RH] CRY Emotional
It is reported that one of Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal’s companions recited a poem to him. When the imam heard these words, he suddenly left the gathering and went home where he could be heard reciting the first verse and weeping loudly.
His students remarked that the imam cried so much, it was as though he would die.
