@RaichuGirl OMG! YES! Oddly enough I watched episode 1 of Den-O in 2007 and found it OK but didn't grab me particularly and then months later I stumbled upon episode 1 of Kabuto and from there I was hooked and I finally was into Kamen Rider! It seems like 2006 was the great year for Japanese media that 1998 was for British lol

@manofmanyinterests I'm not a fan of Den-O myself, I blame it and the fact Japan loved it for the worse way that comedy was done in KR shows after it.
Kabuto though, I was sold from the second I saw the opening, the suits and the man himself, Tendou Souji.
I dunno if I'd say 2006 was great for Japanese media, like I know Death Note and Haruhi started that year but I don't really like either of those things, or Boukenger on the toku side of things again but Kabuto is definitely one of the best toku shows to come from the Heisei era. :)
