Between video clips i was messaging the seller trying to get a partial refund. I explained i payed for it with a Visa vanilla gift card and the seller said "because the payment went through eBay's system, the funds will go back to the method of payment that you used...that is eBay's polioy for sellers." and they did the right thing and send me a partial refund ($45) to my paypal account after i told them it was impossible to refund money to a card you can't reload.
