Facebook, the Palo Alto giant, has bought that seemed relegated to second place in the social part of the Web used to tell which sites you've been. Gowalla has been acquired by the company founded by . Or so says CNN Money (and read in Mashable), since neither Gowalla and Facebook have opened their mouth yet. The sum has not transpired.

Facebook would have two overlapping services: Facebook Places and Gowalla. Be integrated or at least one of the two should disappear, and personally I bet that the mark will be harmed Gowalla
