Frank Zappa - The Purple Lagoon (Live on SNL 1976)

Here's a real gem of a performance, Zappa conducting his fantastic song "The Purple Lagoon" on S*turday Night Live in December of 1976 (with a little help from John Belushi). As far as I can tell no Zappa SNL footage can be found anywhere online (unless it's behind a paywall) so I wanted to mirror it here for any enthusiasts.

The lineup here consists of Frank Zappa, John Belushi as the Samurai Futaba, Patrick O'Hearn on bass, Terry Bozzio on drums, Ray White on guitar, Ruth Underwood on marimba, Don Grolnick & Eddie Jobson on keys, and a horn section consisting of Al Rubin on trumpet, Ronnie Cuber on baritone sax, Lou Marini on tenor sax, Mauricio Smith on alto sax, and Tom Malone on trombone.
