We Need To Talk About DALL•E 2

Imma be real with you man, I think you're coming up with valid concerns - but at the same time AI will always only be as good as the information it's fed, not to mention that AI is not actually itself "intelligent", it's just a bot that indexes information and tries to spit out the roughest approximation of what it thinks you want to see. This is why AI generated stuff is always gonna be jenky and weird, not to mention that robots can't understand things like context. I feel like I could delve deeper into a whole detailed explanation of it but the comment character limit's gonna cut me off. I made an entire series called "Meyersburg" using mostly AI generated images that I edited heavily in many cases - the fact that I had to edit them to add necessary context without immediately being able to use them says a lot about how far off the software is from being scary at it's job. Also, 99% of the time you can tell what is and isn't a deepfake. Nothing to worry about, it's all novelty.
