l praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of creation; and the end is for the muttaqin. I bear witness that there is nothing worthy of worship except Allah – alone with no partner attributed to Him – the rightful and true King. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His messenger, the imam of the first and last. As for what follows:

Know, may Allah protect you, that Islam – which today many people claim – is to worship Allah alone, making the din purely for Him, as He (ta’ala) said:
