also in regards to twitch and copyright they will not mute it while streaming but they will for VODs but for streaming do as much music as you want.

also the money they make from amazon music as well and most music streams are tied in with the content they play anyways the artist still get's money from that either way.

and is why they introduced those categories so DJs and Radio type of shows have a place to stream to and there are not many sites left to use.

In case you didn't know, Twitch was bought by Amazon some time ago. And as you mentioned, they take video uploads! I even wrote an (fairly technical) automatic uploader.

1:58 No, I regulary watch the automatic recordings of streams where the audio is muted because of copyrighted material, I can even link you some of those. Maybe doesn't happen while live, I don't know.
