thing is yeah social media can be harmful. but the world just sucks so it makes sense kids need an escape. theres pollution and cars everywhere. economic and political situation in most of the world is bad. alot of public spaces nowdays just straight up ban people below 18 because of "crime" like movie theaters. bowling allys. i even saw a mcdonalds that had an 18+ sign on the door.
