@shingo that is true. from what i've noticed though, those kinds of folks really know so little about computers or the internet and the constant brainrot onslaught is just the most convenient form of entertainment for them, which is replaceable if you take it away or if the network effect brings them to something better. that's what I meant by indifferent, the dependence on it is circumstantial.

@madarao It's partly that. A lot of it has to do with how people were raised, and if you were raised with an iPad while you were young, you're gonna be mentally fried way more than someone who wasn't. The younger the generation, the more iPad babysitting that's happening on average.

it's not a generational thing. most of them are indifferent if not for the fact they don't have friends elsewhere. the rest of us have jobs, you can't make it in most careers without internet and that's applies to everyone
