VPNs are a SCAM!!!!!!!! WAKE UP VIDLII!!!!

Seriously though, I think of leaving VPNs to only keep your real IP out to be open wouldn't be that ideal. It's just that VPN sponsors are dogshit and they only promote it for basic ISP privacy and regional censorship (youtube, netflix etc) whether that'd be countries mostly made up of communist parties and heavily regulated censorships.

A self-hosted VPN (preferably, through a virtual cloud server) is great because you wouldn't wanna pay shitty sponsor VPNs, and an included benefit is that you have freedom over it under a Unix-philosophical shell command-line and to perfectly avoid f*ds and the 5, 9 & 14.. "whatever that bullshit is" eyes
