Macrovision logo (1997-2007)

Seen at the end of Universal VHS and DVD releases from 2001-2007, and at the beginning of PolyGram VHS and DVD releases from 1997-1999. For Barney's Great Adventure, the logo was absent from the retail VHS, but appears at the beginning of demo VHS tapes and DVDs (including reprints). It has also been spotted on Futurama, Popular Mechanics for Kids, Mommy and Me DVDs, and even at the end of certain prints of Maisy Makes Music (which even has an MPAA "G" rating screen before it!).A few BBC VHS releases also use this. The French variant can be seen on the VHS release of The Eighth Day. The logo was retired in 2007 because of it retiring copy protection for home media and moved on to focusing on TV guide content thus changing its name to "Rovi" in 2009, and from 2016 to present day, it merged with TiVo to become "TiVo Corporation".
