Tank and infantry support combat vehicle.
Designed to destroy enemy personnel, highly protected targets (including tanks), helicopters and low-flying aircraft.

Basic armament consists of:

Two 30 mm 2A42 cannons (900 rounds);
7.62 mm PKTM (2000 rounds);
ATGM type 'Ataka' 9M120-1 (UR 9M120-1F, 9M120-1F-1) with a laser guidance system (four URs on the tower launcher);
Two AGS-17 grenade launchers (300 shots in a single tape for each) in fender niches.
Crew - five people.

The BMPT weapon system creates high-density fire and is capable of attacking up to four targets simultaneously.
It overcomes water bodies up to five meters deep along the bottom.
Highway speed - 65 km / h.
