Detuned electric piano

I filmed this on April 9. This is my mom’s friend’s piano. A couple of years ago, her kids would take piano lessons. They don’t really use the piano much anymore, but the piano still stands along with their Beatles sheet music.

I already knew how to get to the “honky-tonk” sound which sounds very close to an antique out of tune piano, but then I realized there was a “transpose” button! Transpose -1 tunes the piano to B (A-415 hz) and transpose -2 tunes the piano to Bb (A-392 hz).

It’s the closest I’m going to get to my uncle’s basement piano… for now. The song I’m playing is “K.K. Fugue.”
