Frosty Plays Air Combat (PSX) - EP10 - Pickin' up a VIP... (F-14 Tomcat)

This is my run of Air Combat (PSX), the first game in the Ace Combat series. Game is played in Normal Mode and in Expert controls.

If one moves too slow for this level, it can get irritating.

[MISSION 10: "VIP Recovery Mission"]

Enemy Line-Up: 2x AV-8 Harrier (Target), 2x F-14 Tomcat (Target), 2x F-15 Eagle (Target), 1x Control Tower (Optional)

Aircraft Unlocked: Su-27 Flanker, Rafale CO-1

Wingmen Unlocked: Juliette

Somewhat short but irritating mission if the player uses a slower plane. On the other hand, it's doable if you're using something like a F-15 or a F-14. The mission requires you to protect a transport plane and shoot down any enemy fighters that dare to come into the area.

The control tower or ground target at the beginning of the mission is optional to destroy. Clear the level and you'll get the Su-27 Flanker and the Rafale. Juliette who uses a Eurofighter Typhoon becomes available as a wingman.
