I remember this on vista. I think vista is a pretty good operating system. A while ago i put windows 10 on my vista computer. What a mistake, I kept having to reinstall win10 and ended up moving over to linux.
Windows 10 was installed on a second hard drive, so the first one still had the origional install of vista on it. I booted up in vista and got all my files off of my win10 hard drive, and installed linux mint on the w10 hard drive, still keeping vista on hard drive #1.
Short time after that win10 killed the hard drive in my new laptop. Vista gave me very little problems, never got a virus or any of that junk on it, (parents got adware on it once, but its gone), used to for many years.
