YeOldeFellerNoob's Song Contest
A contest for musicians where you submit your songs. Despite the creative possibilities, here are some ground rules:
> At the very least, put some effort into it. Don't just submit a video of you screaming while banging on your keyboard (should be obvious).
> Absolutely no generative AI. Nowhere in the creative process should generative AI ever be used (preferably, no AI whatsoever). If this is the case in a song, it will be disqualified.
> Do not recycle songs you have previously made.
> If you plan on uploading your song to Bandcamp or another platform, PLEASE link it in your submission's description, as Vidlii does compress the audio, and some people would like to listen to a higher quality version of your song.
> Noise, experimental/Avant-Garde, & ambient is allowed. However, put some effort in it.
> No covers, only original music. Absolutely no rips of existing songs not made by you unless you are using it as a sample for your own, original work.
One last note, while I would recommend making a music video, as I think someone absolutely would do such a task and take the trophy home, it is not mandatory. Your video can be a simple image or even a black screen.
Submissions close on March, 7th, 2026.
Voting ends on March, 14th, 2026.
