You can classify certain forms of free speech as petty, at least you're not overreacting to it. Not everyone (who talks about burning a flag) would really do it in real life. Burning a flag takes some initiative, you'd have to set up a safe/suitable environment for it. On the other hand, I guess even a child could burn a flag if an adult does the legwork to make it safe.

I'm proud to say, I'm a proud business owner and have a wonderful wife and two great daughters. But there is nothing wrong with living with mom and dad. I didn't get a blue cake, but my birthday was still amazing. Honestly, gender nonconformity is pretty moderate in mainstream American society.
