My oldest survived video is from November 2008. I didn't know anything about mirroring in 2007, otherwise my original videos would still be here. Sometimes you cannot mirror everything as it was much harder back then. I'll mirror what I can even with remasters of old audio.

@sempiturtal09 find it obnoxious too kinda. but i kinda think it would be cool if they had it where unoriginal content on the site had to labelled as such just like age restriction and they allow anyone to disable seeing unoriginal vids off their feed

I think the copyright change on VidLii is a good thing because if someone wants to archive old T.V. they can just use Internet Archive or other preservation services, and that means a lot more room for original material. I've always found it obnoxious when VidLii channels I liked started posting T.V. clips and barely any original stuff at all.
