Although I don't mind YouTube users accessing Vidlii. However, if there's an arc in the Vidlii anime where the OGs fight against "the elite," that would be epic.

@g4llon The problem isn't that idiots get offended, the problem is that Vidlii can only function as an underground platform. Because if we even reach a number of connected users that the servers can't handle, plus copyright agents find out what's happening here, there will probably be a large number of videos deleted, like YouTube in 2006 and 2009.

Idk I'm fine with people joining vidlii who are on YouTube. Brings more content to the site but I do notice something how YouTube refugees might destroy the sites original creators. Like with lonelygoomba he got 100+subs within a few days because people on YouTube just made vidlii accounts to sub while actual vidlii original creators had to work on videos for months and months to reach 100subs. It might create a elite and peasant class on the site and everything just becoming reuploads.

so i'll keep being excited for new users and youtubers on the site. every time it happens a few of those users who joined because of it stay and become long term community members.

most sites that have offensive content are boring and based around allowing that content - think bitchute or any free speech focused platform. vidlii has its own culture and community that's not just political spam or racism compilation #9001. sure - if a youtuber gets offended because someone used words they don't like they might get mad - but it's hard to paint vidlii as a site designed for being offensive. there's a reason why i don't and will never market this site as a free speech platform.

it depends on who. i'm always happy when someone joins because it means more opportunities for others to discover the site. it doesn't matter if they decide they don't want to keep using it - that's usually what happens even on sites that are squeaky clean and try to censor anything remotely offensive.

ngl i wouldn't have a problem if based youtubers joined, but most jewtubers are whiny fags, and are not based, so I sort of get were you are coming from.
