Als Eggman bemerkt hat, dass Sonic in seiner Basis ist, versucht er vor ihm zu entkommen. Als er den Fahrstuhl benutzt hat, wollte Sonic ihn durch einen Sturz töten, ist aber nicht passiert. Am Ende entkommt Eggman auch durch einen Giant Ring. Doch wie geht es nun weiter?
