They shouldn't have pushed away people who pointed out flaws. Vidlii is being more successful cause they listen everytime someone mentions a flaw and improve. Vidme either don't listen or shut down or target those that point out flaws. Heck most of what I did was trying to get full verification from them and occasionally saying when something seemed wrong and they refused to verify me on Vidme and eventually I got targeted by a hater with a Microsoft Sam voice and a Portal bot as what they used as their identity. I still can't say the hater was in any way more than a hater but I did take the refusing me bit personal. Yet Vidlii at least I understand as many people on here seem to like me and being partnered isn't as big a deal as Vidmes "Verification" which got you able to do a lot more.

I saw it from miles away, but yeah. I thought they would shut down later, but I guess they are screwed. I only uploaded 4 videos there, and those versions are in my archive. VidLii and BitChute are where the money seems to be at, and yeah. What's also strange is that it's shutting down on the same day as AIM, for some reason. If the domain becomes available one day, I'll redirect it to my video accounts.

I had high hopes for vid.me. It wasn't my favorite YouTube alternative, but I thought it had the best chance of taking on the YouTube Monopoly.

I was there from December 9, 2016 to February 11, 2017. They played favorites. You would never get verified if you were not someone they personally liked, plus they contradicted themselves when you would ask a support question. At least people on VidLii are honest and they do listen. Go, VidLii!

Exactly. Vidlii listens so well. I mean I wish Vidme was better but it had way too much wrong with it.
