Ironically, if Vidme did not shut down I would use it over Vidlii. No offence, but I did prefer Vidme over Vidlii on many details which include the layout which I found to be really gorgeous.

@TheSpoilsofWrath There is a way to make money off of anything, you just have to be creative. Consider that sites like pornhub and co. are able to stay afloat without other products/services like google has despite also being video-sharing website. But generally speaking, it's hard to make money off of all the space required for regular video-sharing websites while keeping it free.
