RIP My Windows 10 Acer Aspire Laptop (December 10, 2016 - December 12, 2017)
I turned on my laptop today, and unexpectedly saw this... Hint: ":(" Can you guess? Yeah... The hard drive inside the laptop, which is also the boot drive as well unfortunately, has probably shot itself... DAMN IT.
I did everything I can to try to restore it myself with no luck, If I can, I am going to take this laptop to Geek Squad at my local Best Buy store, so that it can be their problem now. I don't feel like using the reset my PC feature on Windows 10. This means I lost all of my files on the Hard Drive regardless of using that Windows 10 feature. I do not have enough space to back those files up, so, RIP... :(

I had the same problem with My Windows 8 Laptop. Less I got the Hard-Drive with all my Data on it. My Acer Windows 7 Laptop is doing fine but overheats so much needs some Spring clearing so badly.

i have a very simlar Aspire computer that i bought last year. Died from a hard drive just like yours. Mine lasted under a year. Windows 10 worked my hard drive to its death, the hard drive was always at 100% useage. Last windows 10 computer i will ever own.
I put windows10 on my desktop too and it tried to kill that computer too, after the laptop died i deleted windows10 off my desktop too. The desktop still survives and runs nicely now that windows 10 is gone. RIH windows 10

What model is this laptop i also have an acer aspire that crashes every 2 hours and is laggy as hell
