my first own computer had a p4 ht prescott. i used to run emulators and old stuff on it, but it had a shitty power supply and a low profile casing, so it got old really quickly. i still enjoyed learning most of modern computing (including linux) on it.

@TCT101 Well I can't say much about the P4. My 4790k on stock heatsink peaks around 94c, which is insane. I just haven't felt like installing another heatsink.

@11ryanc Most likely the Pentium 4 CPU's that had the Prescott codename on them, you can check that on the CPU-Z software. Now, those were the ones that got really hot from what I heard... 🤔
