Making a video sharing site is easy!*

Seriously. FulpTube is an absolute disaster and it surprises me more they even tried to do it with the most barren security out there.
Don't support that site. Support sites like VidLii, Vlare and BitView for all your worth. They are being funded and managed by actual competent people and not people who want another site to reupload their trash to.

@zodismegalame 5. Vlare was shut down, even though work was actually being done behind the scenes. You may not know this, but stuff was happening literally days after Vlare announced it's termination. We, and by that I mean myself and one of the original Vlare developers actually wanted to get Vlare fully done. We never told the owner. I haven't heard anything back from that said developer though, so he's probably called it quits because there was no point.
6. The Vlare leaks were originally done by a disgruntled member, sks2002. I don't really blame him, however Vlare almost destroyed my friendship with him, hell, it almost even destroyed Iox for that matter. Vlare was a mess and not much work was even done on the project. Which pisses me off more, because I and sks2002 kinda wanted Toby to buy Vlare and bring it back, because Homicide was selling it and I thought he could easily do it. And the archive? Kiss goodbye to it, he has stated that he has kept it in a drawer. Sorry.

@zodismegalame 7. I was the only one sort of doing almost all the heavy work. I had to keep the community in balance, I had to moderate it since no one else was and most importantly, I had to do this while I was trying to hype up the project. I made all the graphics. Hell, I made the actual logo, the two-triangle logo? That was me. Blake made a revised version that I actually like better. But no, Toby owns that now. Ho-hum. They also had the guts to call it all a "Media Group". They over-professionalised a hobby.
If anything, it dreads me to think this is the alt community. All hope, no action. I do have some hope for Vanillo, but at the same time, I don't want them to end up doing the same thing over and over or do the same mistakes Vlare did. They've got a LOT of heavy work to do in order to gain back the trust they once had. When Vlare shut down, that's when I'd say the alt community never truly was the same.
