I think super sonic (A "Power-up") was in this one, but all the chaos emeralds had to be collected for him and 50 rings had to be collected to use him on stage (You could also cheat with debug mode, I guess). Then again I think you're not including the special ones and just the regular ones you could get from boxes.

@Gojiratheking I have not seen any footage or experienced it in game. Instead, you just get flowers in the end with all the chaos emeralds.
