@termer but the moral of the story is don't play second life or games like it because once upon a time I used to be like you Even if you constantly tell yourself it's not going to happen, it will eventually if you play VR chat or second life just say no to the metaverse say no to discord I am an example of what the end result of that is going to be

@whitepaperkat I don't see how being attracted to cartoon animals would require calling oneself a furry and making a persona. Most people who watch anime don't take on a whole otaku persona and make it a defining characteristic. The social aspect is a big thing with furry and otaku culture, but ultimately that's up to you to choose to live a life informed by that culture or not
