NintenNews: Loveroms Shut Down by Nintendo, Nintendo Labo Kit 3, And More!

Listen up dumb ass, nintendo hasn't learned the rules of the internet at all. All they do is take down rom sites and fan games for stupid reasons and they never try new things. Plus, Nintendo Doesn't give a fuck about you, nintendo doesn't give a fuck about me, and they only care about money. They don't know who the fuck you are so I don't get why do you need to defend them all the time. What if a classic game is not sold in the market anymore? You need to realize that 10 to 30 year old games aren't selling in the market anymore. And it's okay for some people to download a 30 year old game. The fbi and the police have much bigger problems than worrying about you downloading a game that's not selling in the market anymore. Don't shame anyone for using an emulator or downloading roms because some people can't afford games and some people may not want to bother with real hardware. I Copy It LOL

I still remember hanging out in the Spanish loveroms general on their discord from late 2017 to mid 2018 till for some reason it proofed out of existance, and trying to go to the site said lr was down. Rip.

loveroms were terrible. It had only shitty exes with trojans. I use emuparadise since coolrom is down.

Thing is, how the fuck are we gonna play some of these games now? It's not like Ninty is fucking letting us have them. Sure I can play Mario 3 on the 3DS or WiiU but how about games like Takeshi's Challenge? That never had an English release? Or games like Little Samson that cost a kidney and a half on eBay? They literally lost no significant amount of money because of these sites since emulation isn't exactly mainstream and more like a hobby for most.

The problem is that Nintendo and other companies take these sites down and don't provide an alternative.

You want to get an official copy of some game, in cartridge/disc form? Well, be prepared to shovel out a thousand dollars to some fucking scalper in Argentina. What, you think I'm going to pay a thousand dollars for one game, which is probably decades old? Hell no!

And what about all the obscure games, where official, physical carts/discs are so rare that nobody but the richest people in the world can actually purchase them? What about games that have been lost for ~three decades and have only surfaced on one of these ROM sites? What about prototypes?

All they need to do is provide a decent alternative. I will happily purchase Super Mario Bros. for a few bucks, so I can play it on my Switch. (I don't actually have a Switch, I'm just making a point.)

Stop complaining, Nintendo is for little children.

Can you point out that those websites uploaded games that wouldn't sell on the market because of how old they are? Anyways good video!

Only used LoveRoms for 16 wii games so i could put them in my usb drive.

LoveROMs was garbage anyhow. They were only in it for the money, and the web design had ads splattered everywhere/etc.

Nintendo are also pathetic for taking down history and not bothering to do anything about it. Seems they only want us remembering what they think were the top 30 NES games and what’s in the VC, no way of getting underrated gems (and as for PAL users, we got screwed with the NES but lavished love with the Master System haha)

By the way, check out tv-roms.narod.ru which is a Russian site but has loads of ROMs complete sets (GoodMerged) and also edgeemu.net which hasn’t been updated since early 2015 but still has the No-Intro ROMs.

I'm very annoyed at Nintendo. Other Companies don't care only Nintendo Cares.
