People's lives are equally valuable but their contributions aren't. Physical labor is more valuable than playing video games. I certainly value the contributions of veterans. They risked their lives for us. It's not fair that many of them end up homeless. Losing a job sucks 😢 I hope your friend lands on his feet.

Yeah I understand we need to know who's coming in. We don't have to do what other countries do. I'd still be nice to someone whose worst offense was coming here illegally. I have sympathy for folks born with harder lives. Some things are easier said than done and none of us were put to the test. It'd be pretty dumb to disobey the police if they told you to leave.

Amu didn't have any real sway on me, exactly because she couldn't articulate herself. I like to think most people are decent, it's just the crazies that make more noise. Faith, morals, compassion, humbleness, discipline, and common sense, I see those as core principles. Outside of those, I try to remain unbiased and think critically. Yup, that's the problem with mocking people for not being successful. It's usually just extra ammo against someone who's already malicious and egotistical.

Yeah I understand autism can make things much harder. If I were born to a horrible life in Mexico I'd sneak into America. I'd care more about escaping the horrible situation. I understand the need to vet migrants but I wish legal migration was easier for physical laborers. Ig there's no guarantees in life. I sympathize with folks who are born with harder lives. Trespassing doesn't kill that sympathy since I'd do it myself under the same circumstances.

A nation isn't someone's private domicile. You can't shoot someone for trespassing in a nation just like you can't shoot someone for trespassing in a park or a store. I don't have a problem with a secure border but I still believe in treating people like human beings unless they do something far worse than trespassing. There's a difference between disliking people and spewing hate. Legal migration is ideal but it's not always an option.

Ig your lives aren't as easy as I assumed. I may have had inaccurate assumptions of what you guys do all day. I can sympathize with your struggles and your traumatic experiences. I can respect your opinions even if they differ from mine. There's a difference between having an opinion and dehumanizing a group of people. If you treat a group of people like dirt then others might do the same to you.

If you have a mental disability then I may have been too harsh. I'd probably be more dependent as well if I had a mental disability. I still wouldn't bash people who were born with much harder lives that I'd have no idea how to live. What would you do if you were born to a horrible life in Mexico and were unable to legally migrate to America?
