Oh, when it comes to the Genesis, Streets of Rage had no competition whatsoever.
I might check out "Final Fight MD" sometime. I was disappointed with the SNES version of the original Final Fight, but I did love the sequels. I always play the CPS2 version of the original Final Fight on arcade emulators like MAME.

I remember the Rushing Beat series. The English localizations had completely different names which I'm sure confused a bunch of people back then. XD
The only "Beat 'em Up" series better than those on SNES were the Final Fight games, esp. 2 and 3.
