Andrew Ambrose - The Gray Outside My Window (Sega Master System YM2413 Original Song)

It's about time I made an original song for the YM2413. I figured I'd go for something chill with some nice bass, but what I ended up with was far more melancholic than I expected. I wasn't going for any particular style with this one, either. I originally made the drum pattern using the SN76489, but since I figured that I'd only need 6 of the YM2413's 9 FM channels, I figured that it'd be more appropriate to use the YM2413 by itself in drum mode. I used the vibraphone patch for the jazzy melody, which I came up with the same way I did the organ solo in Justice a la Mode. I just sloppily hammered out what came to mind with my MIDI keyboard as the backing played, and then went back to clean up everything.
