Andrew Ambrose - Welcome to the Hangout (Sharp X68000 YM2151+MSM6258 Original Song) (12-19-2023)

Here's one last song for 2023! I figured I'd make something rather simple yet still pleasant to listen to, courtesy of Furnace. I'm glad to say that I finally managed to figure out how to get the correct pitch of sound samples in the MSM6258. Since its sample rate is 15625 Hz, and the samples I was using were 44100 Hz, I just had to resample them down to 15625 Hz. I was surprised that there's really no volume control with the MSM6258 (at least from what I tried), so I had to manually lower all the samples I used by 6 dB, which ended up working out perfectly in the end. Despite being fairly simple compared to some of my previous songs, I still quite like how this one turned out. I hope you all enjoy Welcome to the Hangout. ^w^
