Paul McCartney - Wonderful Christmastime (Namco C30 WSG+YM2151+Vocals Cover) (12-7-2023)

I've been meaning to try another chiptune cover with my own vocals mixed in. Coincidentally enough, it's another Paul McCartney song, Wonderful Christmastime! I felt that some '80s Namco sound would fit the song's warm and nostalgic vibe, so I used the Namco System 86 chipset. This took quite some hard work to make, both for the instrumental and the vocal recordings. The funny thing is that the mixing took me the least amount of time. I recently learned that people use a compressor to add consistency to the volume of voice recordings, and I was delighted with how well it worked out tremendously well with this cover.
