Andrew Ambrose - The Trudge On Forward (Namco C15 WSG Original Song) (8-22-2023)

Considering how much I've been working with Namco WSG chips this past year, it's about time I made an original song using only one of them. Hot off my recent Super Famicom cover of The Tower of Druaga's soundtrack, I decided to make a song using only that game's wavetables. After completing the song, I decided to title it The Trudge On Forward because of its droning nature and how it "takes a break" before looping back to the start. I even lowered the tuning to A-4=432Hz to make the song sound more melancholic. While this song is fairly simple in its composition, I do kinda like the gloomy vibe I managed to create with it. I'm interested to hear your thoughts on it, and I hope you enjoy it. ^w^
