In fact, this is precisely why he was only recently banned for things he said over a year ago. Aniki was very transparent about why he did this, but as you know, some people still weren't happy about this. I don't think Shy is a pedo, but seeing him get as openly upset as he was did seem out of character, hence why the poop sex card didn't quite work this time lol. Oh well. I just wish there wasnt so much drama on Vidlii nowadays, it's sad to see.

The reason some people took Sneed's ban more seriously isn't because they're all pedos, that's a guilt by association fallacy. It's because Sneed was actually funny and at the time, most of us didn't realize he was actually a pedophile, we thought he was just doing a bit.

Also I don't think people would actually call Epstein's victims moralfags because that was REAL. There's a huge difference between getting raped irl and someone calling you a moralfag on the internet. If someone called me a moralfag I'd stop and wonder if I said something stupid before being accusatory (or just ignore them if you know in your heart of hearts that you're not being one).

Like it or not, Vidlii's anti-intellectualism is a two way street. EVERYBODY looks retarded when drama goes down, so I've found that more often than not the only winning move is not to play.

Vidlii is not Bitchute or YouTube, amateurism and fucking around is what Vidlii is good at, not political discourse or long form brainrot. Most people trying that on Vidlii end up putting out crap. I won't discourage experimentation too much here since this site is supposed to be creative after all, but there are some things Vidlii isn't and probably never will be good at.

I think the bigger problem (especially as of late) isnt whether or not Vidlii is anti-intellectual, but the fact that many of us take said anti-intellectualism seriously. You might as well be talking to a brick wall at that point, because the website tends to encourage this philosophy.
